The newly formed Swiss company Swiss, risen from the ashes of Swissair and Crossair, has announced plans to renew the long-haul fleet. The old Boeing MD-11 will be replaced by more modern and efficient Airbus A340-300. Swiss has also confirmed yesterday that it has signed an agreement with American Airlines for the exploitation of American AA hub for the connections between Europe and the U.S..
